So I hope things with reimbursements and all that rot will be coming to an end here soon. It seems I have a meeting on the 26th with a represeantaive from the Forest Service. Specificly the Headquarters FS liason to OWCP. Apparently she recieved ALOT of email questioning the treatment I have recieved from OWCP and the insurance company ACS, who from what I understand (and I'm probably wrong) they hired.

Since I'm in a good deal of pain at the moment, I still have to study s'more for a math (pre-calc, if you must know) exam tomorrow, and taking percocet makes me stooopid, the quicker I get this tapped out the quicker I get to study a bit more then take some pain pills, here's the Quick and Dirty.

I put up a story of my continued plight over at Wildlandfire.com, and apparently it annoyed quite a few people.
I also sent the story to Senator Feinstein's office. She deligated a person there to look into the matter for me.
Senator Ron Wyden wants to help, but is deferring to Senator Feinstein.
The Honorable John Doolittle also wishes to join the fray.
Most of this has arisen from the actions of people at Wildlandfire. But it's not all. Several Hotshot Superintendents sent a few emails, and that's what brought the call from HQ USFS. The meeting's on the 26th at the Plumas NF S.O. So we'll see what happens. Interestingly, OWCP has told Susan (my claims manager, who has been working the case for the last year and a half) she is not allowed to attend. Why I haven't any idea, but she's the one with most of the information against OWCP. It's OK tho, as she's sending it over and Mom's going to study it.

Oh yes. That check for $3000 or so has been found, and OWCP says I signed it, something I will not believe untill I see a copy of the back. Any of you who have seen my signature know it's rather unique, something I have done for just this instance. I'll go as far as to say it is nearly impossible to forge.

One last thing. 2 weeks ago a "lump" was found on the spinal process of L4 by my massage therapist. Yesterday I went to my neurosurgeon to get it checked, and while he isn't sure what it is, he's sure what it's not. namely it's not an infection or burst disk or something immediately detrimental, but it needs to be watched, so I'll be going back on the 25th.
He's in reno, a 6 hour round trip for me. I have not yet submitted travel or perdiem vouchers for the most recent trip, but I expect them to be denied.

Ok, off to math and then pain pills, then bed.
