So I'm still alive. Not feeling all that well, but better than I did yesterday. One less thing to lump on top of all the crap, I guess. For example, I went out to get the mail at about 11.30. (at night) Apparently a branch had fallen out of one of the trees onto the walk, and I hit it. Flipped right out of the chair. Outside, without the cell phone. So....... There's a bench out there, so I spent a while screwin' around trying to use that to get back in. Didn't work. So I schlepped myself down to the sidewalk, figuring I could sit on the curb and lever myself back in from there. Dicked around down there for awhile, and finally pulled it off. 'Cource now the chair's in the road, so I had to go a ways lookin' for a curb cut. Pretty much sucked, and all that was in the mail box was a bunch of chaff. So it's shit like that that I have to deal with. Not every day, but often enough to be highly alloying. Makes me look forward to another 50 years (or however many I get) of this bullshit.
When I got back inside, I checked my feet, and my right ankle's all torn up. No big deal, as it still hasn't healed since the last time I had to play the "drag yourself around" game back in ..... july, I think.
Oh, I'm still bleeding. Not as much, like a little red in the yellow instead of "bad truck stop coffee", but still some. Seems to me if your male and you bleed for 6 days that should be exciting, but according to all the doctors, it's not.
So now my back hurts like a bastard, prolly because of all the twisting around I was doing while dickin' around with that bench. It was worth a try, I guess. So will I ever not be depressed? I don't think so. I just deal with it. What choice do I have? |
