Thismorning I woke up, and (once again) I was pertty sure I was going to die.
I sat up, and immediately thought I was going to throw up. I had the spins, everything. I looked at the clock wondering if I could sleep a little more and still make it to class. It was 6am. "Screw it" I said to myself, fell back, and almost immediately went back to sleep.

Woke up again later, and I tried to judge what time it was by the light level outside. It appeared to be still reealy early so I said (again to myself) "Maybe I can make it". However, uppon checking the clock I found it was 9.30 and class was allready 1/2 over. Clouds screw up my "tell time by the sun" ability, I guess. Still feeling like death I went back to sleep again.

Woke up again at 10.30 and this time I felt well enough to get out of bed.

I did some math, then went to tutoring, which I had to bail early from to go to the Dr's in Oroville. Thankfully I allready had an appointment for today, as when I got there I really felt like hell. The first thing the nurse practitioner asked me was "What's amatter with you?"
I told her how I felt, the lack of energy, the burning kidneys, and the story of the ER visit and how the new urologist didn't want to see me. Then I showed her the legbag, which was full of what looked like runny tomato soup and had plenty of "floaties" in it. Ones big enough to look like they might bite.
"Does this look right to you?" I asked.
"Um, No" She said.
So she got out the test report from the hospital, and pointed out to me that the infection is slightly resistant to the drug I was on, but very succeptable to another. So I'm on a different antibiotic now. Hoss pills. The BIG ones. So instead of treating a molehill in the beginning, now we have to treat a whole mountain.

She also called the urologist's office and yelled at them. Didn't really yell, but you get the point. Came back and told me the Doc wasn't there, but she talked to the bookkeeper. Found out that the reason they didn't see me was that it appeared I was allready being treated.
I guess bleeding for 6 days (now) still wasn't very exciting, since I was on an antibiotic. I wonder if someone's nose was bleeding for that long if they'd get the same type of treatment?
So she explained to her that I really needed to see a urologist. "I told them he never complains. Now he has a raging UTI and cannot find anyone to treat it. He asked you guys for treatment on monday, and you didn't want to see him."
The person there said she would make sure the Doc saw all the stuff tomorrow morning when he comes in.
So Nurse Karen was going to fax over all my particulars- records and stuff.
Her ending comment on the phone was "He was a wildland firefighter who went to work and woke up 2 weeks later needing a wheelchair. Usually he's very energetic but I could tell he had a problem right when I saw him today."

So maybe I'll stop bleeding and feeling like crap in general soon. I sure hope so coz this shit sucks. All I've done really today is slept. Usually I get 4 hours sleep, the last few days I've had trouble staying awake for more than that.
Everything is suffering... My schoolwork, the condition of the house... Hopefully I'll get better soon.
