So it's 5.20pm and I'm laying in bed at the moment. If you know me, that may not be a suprise, as I usually take a nap (if I can) in the afternoon. It's a little late for a nap tho... I'm in bed because of one thing... My back hurts like a bastard. I've got 2 percocets melting under my tongue... I hope they work. I was up at 6am (another non suprise) but took no nap today. Took one pain pill already, I guess it worked, as I wasn't really paying attention after I took it. (doing stuff) I was de-seeding some lycheenuts, but my back got so bad I freaked out and had to do something about it. Hence the perc's and bed. GodDamn this hurts. Ny lower back, shoulders, left ass cheeck and the back of my left thigh are absolutely On Fire. My teeth are also sore because I've been clenching my teeth against the pain. Now it's not as bad as "Gee I think I've broken something" (been there) but it IS as bad as "Gee I think the water-heater's turned up a little high..." (been there too) "Oh look, the waterheater WAS a turned up a bit, look at the pretty blisters..." Would the acupuncture help with the current pain level? I dunno, but while I was under that treatment I had no incedents like this. Thank you, oh Infinately Wise OWCP Person for turning THAT off....
In other news I'm currently searching for a lawyer capable of dealing with federal workman's comp. Not to put the "smack" down on anyone, just to have someone who knows what *should* be happening *is* happening. I've (obviously) never had to deal with this sort of thing before, and I'm tired of playing "Mommy may I" with OWCP.
It's now 5.40 and the pain hasn't decreased any at all. No, percocets usually don't work that fast, but I did chew them and now my mouth is numb. Gosh I hope they start to work soon. And I hope that they don't make me too stupid to do anything as I need to plant those Lychee nut seeds before they go un-viable.
