There's a metal plate on the bottom of the dishwasher. A kickplate or whatever the hell it is. It's screwed up so we have a bucket (containing dishwashing soap) kicked up against it so the ferrets can't get in there & sleep amoung the wires & insulation. Tonite I took it off with the intention of rebending the metal so I don't need the damn bucket there anymore... Coz I have to move the bucket to get in the goddamn fridge.
Well, I got it off & rebent. Guess what? I cannot get it back on without laying on the floor... And I'm really NOT in the mood to get outta the chair, put it back on, then figure out how to get back IN the goddamn wheelchair while in the kitchen. I fell out of the damn thing a few days ago outside... Had to drag myself around for .... awhile wihile I figured out how to get back in... So my ass is a little sore after being pulled across cement & driveway for about 50 feet. As much fun as that was, my asss is a little sore so I'm not terribly excited about spending time on the ground in the kitchen.

I bet you're saying "Why don't you ask someone to help you?"
Guess what? There's no one else here. Sure I could go ask the neighbors, but the house is a goddamn mess (If I don't do it..It doesn't get done.. And cleaning is near the bottom of the list.) and I really don't want them in here anyway.

So.. Someday I'll get pissed off again & plop down on the flooor and do it.
